GMC – the Brand

GMC is one of the best-known producers of trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles in the USA and the Middle East. It started with General Motors buying the Rapid Motor Vehicle Company, renaming it to General Motors Truck Company, from which the name GMC Truck was formed. The trucks by GMC beat records – in 1916, one of them crossed the US from Seattle to NYX in a month, and in 1926 a heavy-duty 2-ton truck was driven on the distance NYC-san Francisco in barely five days and 30 minutes, which was an incredible speed in those times. When the Second World War came, GMC truck supplied the US Armed Forces with 600 thousand trucks. Later, GMC purchased the Yellow Coach, a bus manufacturer, and the production of buses started. Now the company narrowed its interests and produces light- and medium-duty trucks, SUVs and pickup trucks.

GMC Trucks

GMC emphasizes that their vehicles are designed to overcome every challenge that may be presented to them, thanks to their excellent performance, broad power and fuel options and various cab designs (regular, extended, crew), which are designed for the maximum comfort of the users. Hybrid engines for those concerned with green issues are also available. You can choose out of several families of trucks, including all-purpose Sierra, cargo/passenger Savana, and luxurious Denali. Whatever job or use you have in mind, GMC trucks offer you a wide selection of their vehicles. It is worth noting that also used GMC vehicles are worth of exploring – you can browse through them on Mascus website, which is the biggest on-line heavy-machinery marketplace in Europe. The trucks there come from all over the world, are often in still excellent condition and can be recommended by their owners as reliable, efficient and economical for any kind of work.
